Deductions From Horse Pari-Mutuel Pools

Sec. 2028.101. DEDUCTIONS FROM HORSE PARI-MUTUEL POOLS. (a) A horse racetrack association shall deduct an amount from each pari-mutuel pool to be distributed as provided by Sections 2028.102, 2028.103, and 2028.104. (b) The total maximum deduction under Subsection (a) is: (1) 18 percent from a regular wagering pool; (2) 21 percent from a multiple two wagering pool; and (3) 25 percent from a multiple three wagering pool.
