Sec. 2051.107. REGISTRATION DURATION; EXPIRATION. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a certificate of registration issued under this chapter is valid for a period of not more than one year from the date of issuance. (b) The secretary of state, by rule, may adopt a system under which certificates of registration expire on various dates during the year. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
