Definitions

Sec. 2063.501. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Incident response team" means the Texas volunteer incident response team established under Section 2063.502. (2) "Participating entity" means a state agency, including an institution of higher education, or a local government that receives assistance under this subchapter during a cybersecurity incident. (3) "Volunteer" means an individual who provides rapid response assistance during a cybersecurity incident under this subchapter. Added by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 567 (S.B. 475), Sec. 6, eff.
