Sec. 207.042. ATHLETES. Benefits are not payable to an individual based on services substantially all of which consist of participating in a sport or athletic event or training or preparing to participate in a sport or athletic event for a week that begins during the period between two successive sport seasons or similar periods if: (1) the individual performed the services in the first of the seasons or periods; and (2) there is a reasonable assurance that the individual will perform the services in the later of the seasons or periods.
