Definition of Shares

Sec. 21.202. DEFINITION OF SHARES. In Sections 21.203-21.208, "shares" includes a security: (1) that is convertible into shares; or (2) that carries a right to subscribe for or acquire shares. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
