Bids On Contracts For Purchase of Vehicles, Equipment, and Supplies Over $15,000; Exception

Sec. 21.214. BIDS ON CONTRACTS FOR PURCHASE OF VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES OVER $15,000; EXCEPTION. (a) If the estimated amount of a proposed contract to purchase vehicles, equipment, or supplies is more than $15,000, the board shall ask for competitive bids as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 271, Local Government Code. (b) This section does not apply to: (1) the purchase of property from a public agency; or (2) a contract for personal or professional services.
