Participation In Pool

Sec. 2206.052. PARTICIPATION IN POOL. (a) A school district that meets the criteria established by the school district risk management pool in the pool's plan of operation may: (1) purchase coverage from the pool; and (2) use district money to pay the fees, contributions, or premiums required to participate in the pool and obtain the coverage. (b) A junior college district may not participate in the school district risk management pool. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff. April 1, 2007.
