Immunity From Liability In General

Sec. 2210.007. IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY IN GENERAL. (a) This section applies to: (1) the association and a director, agent, or association staff; (2) the commissioner, the department, and department staff; and (3) a participating insurer and the insurer's agents and staff. (b) A person described by Subsection (a) is not liable, and a cause of action does not arise against the person, for: (1) an inspection made under the plan of operation; or (2) any statement made in good faith by the person: (A) in a report or communication concerning risks submitted to the association; or (B) at any administrative hearing conducted under this chapter in connection with the inspection or statement.
