Sec. 2260.108. DEFENSE BY ATTORNEY GENERAL. (a) The attorney general shall defend a unit of state government in a contested case hearing covered by this chapter. (b) The attorney general may settle or compromise the portion of a claim that may result in state liability under this chapter. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1352, Sec. 9, eff. Aug. 30, 1999.
