Write-In Votes In New Election

Sec. 232.043. WRITE-IN VOTES IN NEW ELECTION. A write-in vote in a new election ordered by a court in an election contest may not be counted unless write-in votes were received by the candidate in the contested election. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1986.
