Sec. 24.00505. PETITION. To initiate an eviction suit, a sworn petition must be filed with the court. The petition must include the contents required by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. Added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 960 (S.B. 38), Sec. 5, eff. January 1, 2026.
