Sec. 24.142. 40TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (ELLIS COUNTY). (a) The 40th Judicial District is composed of Ellis County. (b) The terms of the 40th District Court begin on the first Mondays in March, June, September, and December. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
