Sec. 26.041. CREATION OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES. The municipality may: (1) create offices; (2) determine the method for selecting officers; and (3) prescribe the qualifications, duties, and tenure of office for officers. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
