Red River County

Sec. 26.294. RED RIVER COUNTY. (a) The County Court of Red River County has: (1) the general jurisdiction of a probate court; (2) jurisdiction to enter orders providing for the support of deserted wives or children, pendente lite, and to punish violations of those orders; (3) juvenile jurisdiction as provided by Section 26.042(b); and (4) original criminal jurisdiction. (b) The county court has no other civil jurisdiction or appellate criminal jurisdiction. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
