Sec. 265.031. CREATION OF BOARD. (a) The commissioners court of a county and the governing body of a municipality located in whole or in part in that county may adopt resolutions creating a joint county-municipal hospital board, without taxing power, designated the "____________ County-Municipality of ____________, Texas, Hospital Board." (b) A board created under this section is a public agency and body politic. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
