Suppression of Physical Evidence; Criminal Penalty

Sec. 271.005. SUPPRESSION OF PHYSICAL EVIDENCE; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly suppresses physical evidence connected with information contained in a report or return required by this chapter through concealment, alteration, or destruction. (b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
