Sec. 281.027. ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR. (a) If the administrator is incapacitated, absent, or unable to perform the administrator's duties, the board may designate an assistant administrator to perform any of the administrator's powers or duties, subject to limitations prescribed by board order. (b) The assistant administrator or other persons shall execute a bond as required by board order. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
