Sec. 286.049. OFFICERS' TERMS; VACANCY. (a) Each officer of the board serves for a term of one year. (b) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the unexpired term. Added by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 14, Sec. 121, eff. Sept. 1, 1991.
