Provision of Computer Equipment Or Internet Service

Sec. 30B.004. PROVISION OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR INTERNET SERVICE. This chapter does not: (1) require a school district, an open-enrollment charter school, a virtual course provider, or the state to provide a student with home computer equipment or Internet access for a virtual course provided by a school district or open-enrollment charter school; or (2) prohibit a school district or open-enrollment charter school from providing a student with home computer equipment or Internet access for a virtual course provided by the district or school.
