Opening of Bids; Acceptance Or Rejection

Sec. 315.044. OPENING OF BIDS; ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION. (a) Bids shall be opened and read at a public meeting of the governing body of a municipality. (b) The governing body may: (1) accept a bid it considers most advantageous to the owners of abutting property; or (2) reject any or all bids. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
