Authority Fixing Compensation

Sec. 32.093. AUTHORITY FIXING COMPENSATION. The compensation of election judges and clerks shall be fixed by the following authority: (1) for an election ordered by the governor or a county authority, the commissioners court; (2) for an election ordered by an authority of a political subdivision other than a county, the political subdivision's governing body; and (3) for a primary election, the county executive committee of the political party holding the primary.
