Eligibility For Appointment

Sec. 336.053. ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. A person is eligible for appointment to the board if the person: (1) resides in the district; (2) is registered to vote in a county in which the district is located; and (3) has recognized expertise in: (A) library services; (B) education; (C) information technology; (D) local or Texas history; or (E) business management.
