Sec. 344.103. OFFICERS. (a) The board shall elect from among its members a president and vice president. (b) The board shall appoint a secretary. The secretary may be a director. (c) The person who performs the duties of auditor for the municipality shall serve as treasurer of the district. (d) Each officer of the board serves for a term of one year. (e) A vacancy in a board office shall be filled by the board for the unexpired term. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1295, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2001.
