Sec. 344.259. APPLICABILITY OF ELECTION CODE. A referendum election authorized by this subchapter shall be held and the returns shall be prepared and canvassed in conformity with the Election Code. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1295, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2001.
