Sec. 351.055. OFFICERS. (a) The governor shall designate a member of the board as the presiding officer of the board to serve in that capacity at the pleasure of the governor. (b) The board shall elect an assistant presiding officer and a secretary-treasurer every two years. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
