Sec. 351.401. PROHIBITED OFFER, REPRESENTATION, OR DESIGNATION. Unless a person is licensed to practice under this chapter, the person may not: (1) offer to practice optometry or therapeutic optometry; (2) represent to others that the person is authorized to practice optometry or therapeutic optometry; or (3) use in connection with the person's name a designation implying that the person practices optometry or therapeutic optometry.
