Sec. 363.136. BOND ELECTION. Bonds secured in whole or in part by taxes may not be issued by a public agency until authorized by a majority vote of the qualified voters of the public agency at an election ordered for that purpose. A bond election shall be held in the manner provided by law for other bond elections of the public agency. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
