Adjustment of Rates For Adequate Revenue

Sec. 363.144. ADJUSTMENT OF RATES FOR ADEQUATE REVENUE. A public agency shall adopt and adjust the rates charged for solid waste management services so that revenues, together with taxes levied to support the services, will be sufficient to pay: (1) the expense of operating and maintaining the solid waste management system, including a resource recovery system; (2) the public agency's obligations under a contract; and (3) the public agency's obligations under and in connection with bonds issued that are secured by revenues from the solid waste management service or a solid waste management system, including a resource recovery system.
