Sec. 371.051. PAWNSHOP LICENSE REQUIRED. A person may not engage in business as a pawnbroker unless the person holds a pawnshop license. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
