Consent of Municipality Required

Sec. 3792.0506. CONSENT OF MUNICIPALITY REQUIRED. (a) The board may not hold an election under Section 3792.0501, issue bonds, or incur any debt until each municipality in whose corporate limits or extraterritorial jurisdiction the district is located has consented by ordinance or resolution to the creation of the district and to the inclusion of land in the district. (b) This section applies only to the district's first issuance of bonds payable from ad valorem taxes. Added by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1005 (H.B. 4635), Sec. 1, eff. June 14, 2019.
