Sec. 3814.104. AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. To protect the public interest, the district may contract with Harris County or the City of Houston to provide law enforcement services in the district for a fee. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2005.
