Sec. 3818.103. USE OF CONDUITS. (a) The district may: (1) finance, acquire, construct, improve, operate, maintain, or charge a fee for the use of its own conduits for fiber-optic cable, electronic transmission lines, or other types of transmission lines and supporting facilities; or (2) finance, acquire, construct, improve, operate, or maintain conference centers and supporting facilities. (b) This section does not authorize the district to require a person to use a conduit authorized by this section. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.03, eff. April 1, 2007.
