Sec. 3857.158. COUNTIES NOT REQUIRED TO PAY DISTRICT OBLIGATIONS. Except as provided by Section 375.263, Local Government Code, a county is not required to pay a bond, note, or other obligation of the district. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1286 (H.B. 4093), Sec. 1, eff. June 15, 2007.
