Sec. 3858.156. HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX. The district may impose a hotel occupancy tax in the manner that Chapter 351, Tax Code, provides for a municipality. A tax imposed under this section may not exceed seven percent of the price paid for lodging in the district. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1203 (H.B. 4825), Sec. 1, eff. June 19, 2009.
