Sec. 4055.052. ISSUANCE OF LICENSE. Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or this code, the commissioner shall issue a specialty license to a rental car company, or to the franchisee of a rental car company, that complies with this subchapter. The specialty license may be issued only for the limited purposes specified by this subchapter. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff. April 1, 2005.
