Definitions

Sec. 411.381. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Alert" means the statewide silver alert for missing senior citizens and persons with Alzheimer's disease, as developed and implemented under this subchapter. (2) "Local law enforcement agency" means a local law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the investigation of a missing senior citizen or person with Alzheimer's disease. (3) "Senior citizen" means a person who is 65 years of age or older. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 69 (S.B. 1315), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2007.
