Sec. 438.031. DEFINITION. In this subchapter, "food" includes simple, mixed, or compounded articles used for food, drink, flavoring, confectionery, and condiment for human consumption. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
