Sec. 466.044. CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person operates a narcotic drug treatment program without a permit issued by the department. (b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor. Amended by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 14, Sec. 193, eff. Sept. 1, 1991.
