Required Age Verification of Ticket Purchaser; Criminal Offense

Sec. 466.258. REQUIRED AGE VERIFICATION OF TICKET PURCHASER; CRIMINAL OFFENSE. (a) A licensed sales agent or an employee of a sales agent shall use an age verification process prescribed by commission rule to verify the age of each ticket purchaser at the point of sale. (b) A person who violates Subsection (a) commits an offense. An offense under this subsection is a Class B misdemeanor. Added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1160 (S.B. 3070), Sec. 32, eff.
