Public Education and Assistance

Sec. 5.239. PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. (a) The executive director shall ensure that the agency is responsive to environmental and citizens' concerns, including environmental quality and consumer protection. (b) The executive director shall develop and implement a program to: (1) provide a centralized point for the public to access information about the commission and to learn about matters regulated by the commission; (2) identify and assess the concerns of the public in regard to matters regulated by the commission; and (3) respond to the concerns identified by the program.
