Permit Fee Exemption For Certain Research Projects

Sec. 5.708. PERMIT FEE EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN RESEARCH PROJECTS. (a) In this section: (1) "Institution of higher education" has the meaning assigned by Section 61.003, Education Code. (2) "State agency" has the meaning assigned by Section 572.002, Government Code. (b) If a permit issued by the commission is required for a research project by an institution of higher education or a state agency, payment of a fee is not required for the permit.
