Compensation of Certain Clerks

Sec. 51.602. COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN CLERKS. The salaries of the clerks of the supreme court, the court of criminal appeals, and the courts of appeals are determined by the legislature in the acts appropriating funds for the support of the judiciary. The legislature shall also fix the amount of supplemental salaries paid to those clerks from court fees and receipts. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
