Sec. 52.071. AUTHORITY OVER RIVERBEDS AND CHANNELS. The riverbeds and channels belonging to the state are subject to development by the state and to lease or contract for recovery of oil and gas. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2450, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
