Sec. 526.0804. TERMS; VACANCY. (a) Council members serve six-year terms. (b) A vacancy on the council shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment. A council member appointed to fill a vacancy on the council shall serve the remainder of the unexpired term. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 484 (H.B. 728), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2023.
