To Whom Notice Given; Manner

Sec. 53.232. TO WHOM NOTICE GIVEN; MANNER. The lien claimant must send written notice of his claim by certified mail to: (1) the officials of the state, county, town, or municipality whose duty it is to pay the contractor; and (2) the contractor at the contractor's last known business or residence address.
