Sec. 54.611. BOARD OFFICERS. (a) The comptroller serves as the presiding officer of the board. (b) The board shall appoint a secretary of the board whose duties may be prescribed by law and by the board. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 1032, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
