Recipient Outreach and Education

Sec. 540.0256. RECIPIENT OUTREACH AND EDUCATION. A contract to which this subchapter applies must: (1) require the contracting Medicaid managed care organization to provide: (A) information about the availability of and referral to educational, social, and other community services that could benefit a recipient; and (B) special programs and materials for recipients with limited English proficiency or low literacy skills; and (2) contain procedures for recipient outreach and education.
