Sec. 547.003. EQUIPMENT NOT AFFECTED. This chapter does not prohibit and the department by rule may not prohibit the use of: (1) equipment required by an agency of the United States; or (2) a part or accessory not inconsistent with this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter.
