Medicaid Reimbursement Requirements

Sec. 548.0151. MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT REQUIREMENTS. (a) The executive commissioner by rule shall require each health and human services agency that administers a part of Medicaid to provide Medicaid reimbursement for teledentistry dental services provided by a dentist licensed to practice dentistry in this state. (b) The commission shall require reimbursement for a teledentistry dental service at the same rate as the Medicaid program reimburses for the same in-person dental service.
