Conflicts of Interest

Sec. 549.0303. CONFLICTS OF INTEREST. (a) A voting board member may not have a contractual relationship with, ownership interest in, or other conflict of interest with: (1) a pharmaceutical manufacturer or labeler; or (2) an entity the commission engages to assist in developing preferred drug lists or administering the Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Program. (b) The executive commissioner may implement this section by: (1) adopting rules that identify prohibited relationships and conflicts; or (2) requiring the board to develop a conflict-of-interest policy that applies to the board.
